You’re right. The setup I saw made it appear it was at Michigan.I think that game was at Wisconsin.
https://twitter.com/abc/status/1087140821575585794That Q1 and Q2 record is impressive. If we can avoid a bad loss the rest of the way, win the ones we are expected to and pull off an upset or two we are in IMO.https://twitter.com/abc/status/1087140821575585794
Things aren't great for Alabama at the moment, but they sure as heck could be much worse.
I hate to say Baylor is a must win, but it probably is. It could come down to them or us getting in so it would be big to beat them on their home court. We play at 11 Saturday morning. My son is actually going.Lunardi has us as "a last 4 in" now.
I just looked at Baylor's schedule and could not believe we have 5 common opponents. We are 5-0 and Baylor is 2-3. They areI hate to say Baylor is a must win, but it probably is. So much for that.I hate to say Baylor is a must win, but it probably is. It could come down to them or us getting in so it would be big to beat them on their home court. We play at 11 Saturday morning. My son is actually going.
Figure out a way to win against every team lower than 60 and we should be in. That would be six more wins and four of them on the road. Anything else would be gravy.Going off the NET rankings after Saturday's games, Alabama is #43 (#8 in the SEC).
The remaining schedule provides for quality wins and some horrible losses:
29
@27
88
@93
@29
37
@108
93
@113
16
27
@69
Granted, these rankings will change as the season progresses, but it gives a good idea of what Alabama faces the rest of the way.
We blew a golden opportunity. We were tired getting in after midnight, and didn't get to have a shoot around. That might have made a difference, but we simply got out hustled. We let a smaller team who shoots 3's and rebounds(exactly what Auburn does BTW) and get 50% of their misses. We were in poor rebounding position most of the time. We just fundamentally got blocked out on the boards. This was a game we should have won. Losing in close games does nothing for you in the eyes of the committee. A loss is a loss and and win is a win. Either we get our act together now beginning Tuesday night, or play in the not invited tournament. We have to go IMHO 8-4 the rest of the way.So much for that.
