The '92 Miami team Bama blasted was a heck of a team. They had an explosive offense and a stout defense. They were loaded with talent. Also, the 2008 Florida team with Tebow was a powerful team.

2003 Oklahoma, 2011 LSU, 2008 and 2009 Florida are the recent ones that come to mind. 2014 Ohio State was a buzzsaw.

Gets my vote. I`ve seen us lose games before, but I`m hard pressed to think of another game in which we were so soundly beaten, and I go back to `58.

I don't know if the 92 Miami team was THE best but you are absolutely right. That offense could score as fast this years Alabama offense could score. I sat on the edge of my seat almost the entire game. When Lamar Thomas caught that ball on the way for the score I got this sick feeling in my stomach, like, well game over. Then George Teague caught him from behind and from that moment on I knew this Bama team came to win and I relaxed (a little)

In my era as a fan I would say 2008 Florida, 2011 LSU, 2014 Ohio State, and 2016 Clemson. Those teams were all loaded with future NFL stars and beat very good Alabama teams.

That's about the best way to describe it...I don't think that we really had a chance in that one, and I don't ever, ever remember thinking that about any Bama game I've ever seen.

I was only four then but I will agree. I wouldn’t vote for a team we beat in this poll. If they were really the best we ever played, they wouldn’t lose.
