Congratulations to the young man for having enough confidence in his own ability to walk on at Alabama rather than get a free ride elsewhere. I have a lot of props for Mr. Gates and wish him every success in his educational as well as athletic future.

I love stories like this! Wants to play with the best and is willing to compete! And, I like having local kids who want to be at Bama mixed in with these national recruits! This will always be a good thing and hopefully he'll earn some PT!
