Good: Bama won.

Bad/ugly: To me does not matter.

Special shootout to Audio for being a beast in the game/post-game thread. The Emperor would be proud of the hate that flows through you with regards to OU.

Every voter who voted for Kyler should turn in their voting privileges because they GOT IT WRONG.
I agree that they got it wrong, but unfortunately he did just enough to allow his voters to rationalize their vote, starting with those two in the broadcast booth.

Good: Coach Saban's coaching style (Brian Kelly looked like he was on meds. I know it was a different game but still)

Bad: Officiating, they were like middle school officials the way they never called anything

Ugly: I still don't like Murray's smug dad

Good: Laser focus in the 1st quarter. Tua in synch. Josh Jacobs turned loose in beast mode. Damn, that Murray kid's fast!
Bad: It wasn't "Big Game Bob". I hate that guy; would've been nice to beat him. Sad that Shula had the best game against him.
Ugly: Let them up off the mat in the 2nd half. Mental errors, letting the Sooners get in our heads.
Just plain sad: Officiating. They were just plain lazy; most of the "chippiness" wouldn't have happened if the refs had stayed on top of it.

His stats may have said he played a good game but anybody who watch the game knew that when Tua/Bama was throwing haymakers early the game, Kyler was running and hiding. Despite his stats, Kyler did not play a good game, and the voters who voted for him should admit their mistake.

Lamb should have been called for offensive pass interference 3 or 4 times when he pushed off to get open!
Yeah beyond Lamb being headed for the NFL and Surtain a true freshman, let Lamb get away with push-off and “clearing out” with inside arm, it would make it difficult for even the most experienced DB on the team to cover.

Also, considering Tua's rating was 236 and Murray's was 139, does that mean Tua should overtake him now in rating this season?
According to ESPN Tua's current rating is 205.2 and Murray's is 199.2. Statistically they are very close in almost every passing category.

For further discussion purposes, would you estimate that Tua played in 80% of {offensive] game time over the season? More, Less??? About what percentage did Kyler play?

I believe it was shown before the SECCG that Tua had played in 58% of our offensive plays...where as Murray was over 80% of OU's offensive snaps during the regular season.

Wow. I knew Tua left the game in the 2nd quarter in several games, and once I think in the 1st quarter. But didn't realize he was only in on 58% of the offensive plays. Imagine his stats had he played through the 3rd quarter of every game, not even including the 4th.

I extrapolated new figures by increasing Tua's number by 42% (meaning with current numbers he completes same percentage of passes) and also increased Kyler's number by 20%. These are the numbers I got. pure fantasy exercise, but the numbers shows Tua a slight advantage...

PLAYER TEAM COMP ATT PCT YDS YDS/A LONG TD INT
Tua ALA 317 456 69.5% 5213 11.4 58 6
Kyler OKLA 312 452 69.0% 5233 11.6 50 8
