Yup....it was cute, until it wasn't. I picture this as a death sentence to your school. They say there's no such thing as bad publicity......well I think you may be the first to have found it.

What P5 school will even communicate with you now? Who wants to talk to a school when the risk is if you don't get what you want you'll publicize those emails for the purpose of public shaming them into agreeing with you?

Reiterating what a bunch of pansies they are.


It would cost nothing but a phone call to play this three game series with Florida and wipe them off the map. But they don't want ANY part of that.

And btw - I'm not an anti-trust lawyer but one side helping another get a decent bowl game has gone on since they were playing football in the Garden of Eden. Coach Bryant used to wheel and deal all the time.

They have made a number of poor choices over the last year or so.

First, they decided to crown themselves national champions. They could have celebrated their undefeated season without that claim and been widely respected. Instead they were ridiculed.

Second, they failed to respect the only two tough opponents that they have played in the last two seasons. Had they shown Auburn and LSU respect before, during and after those games, they would have continued to gain the respect of the college football world. Instead, they diminished themselves.

Now they want to talk about conspiracies and a world that "isn't fair". They are surprised that they are not respected when they, themselves, have created these feelings. They earned respect on the field, and then threw it away. We can all learn something from their mistakes.

by the logic they are using, Mack started a game before the Fiesta bowl, which makes him the starter, which means their starting QB played in the Fiesta Bowl. BTW, Mack was the 4th leading rusher on the team, so he had experience.

Completely ignoring the fact LSU had pretty much a second-string defense on the field most of the game.

BTW, if they do not believe that they were dominated by LSU, maybe someone can send them the stat sheet for the game. LSU had 555 yards of offense - UCF had 250. LSU possessed the ball for 44:31, UCF for 15:29. They kept the game within reach on the scoreboard, but they got pushed around on the field.
