What about Daboll?I would mind that. Kiffin is the only one who beat Clemson BTW
That may be wise because our own search is more important to everyone here. Was thinking the same thing.
I agree. It is hard to keep up with who left and who stayed.Maybe it's time to start a Coaching Carousel thread just for Alabama... sadly.
Now is the winter of our discontentSo this will be our 6th different OC since 2016? Wow..
I meant in championship game .. those losses are the only ones which stick forever. If we had gone 10-2 none of those losses would have mattered. What about Daboll?
Not buying that. We saw the drop at other positions where other coaches came in. Our receivers were better this year. Its ok to give Locks credit for what he did while there but Gattis did an outstanding job for us.Locks developed your receivers before Gattis arrived. Amazing recruiter, but Gattis wants to call plays and he is not ready to call plays.
Take the George Costanza advice.News days like this do make it difficult at work. An awful lot of phone checking and watching out for the boss man.
#1 is very trueHere are my very uninformed theories are:
1. Saban is just that difficult to work with
2. Saban is now looking for long term commitments and these coaches wouldn't give it
3. An OC is already "in-waiting" and Saban is allowing there to be a fresh start
4. Saban was never even considering Gattis or Enos as OC so they took promotions elsewhere
Thoughts?
I thought this offseason I would finally get some work done and now I have to constantly stay on Tidefans to get updates on the OC and assistant coach searches.
