Yep. It's scary, along with his self-printed margin remark in his first trade speech - "TRADE IS BAD!" When I saw that, I realized just how deep our (the world's) problems were...

Longtime political junkies will probably remember Lyndon Larouche. He ran for the Democratic nomination every time for years and held views that could best be described as nutty. He has died at 96.

Not really relevant to this thread but I remember him running and reading about him gave me a chuckle.

A Marxist who evolved into a hard right conservative - is it really that far of an evolution?

Just saw an interview with Pete Buttigieg (sp) - seems to be the best orator among the Dems, from what I’ve seen so far.
Very well spoken and intelligent. Also very young.

Can we get a pronunciation key for this guy. The way I am pronouncing it in my head sounds wrong.

Received an email update from Kamala's visit to South Carolina on Friday. Pretty impressive turnout in Charleston and quite a bit of energy and interest in her campaign.

The article goes on to say that she trails in early primary polls to Biden and Sanders who have yet to declare.

bernie "leaked" an announcement video over the weekend, but it doesn't seem to have garnered a ton of publicity.

at least i got the boot part correct ;)

this tweet in response was funny

you say "boot-a-judge" and my immediate thought is "so if he were to win, would he urge Congress to get Kavanaugh thrown off the court?"

Bernie has been one of the few political figures people on the left can actually rally behind and not just running on the orange man bad platform.
