    LSU won at Kentucky.

I thought this was going to be another LSU team with a lot of talent but no team play. Looks like I was wrong about the team play. Their point guard, Waters, is exceptional and has a lot to do with the players playing together.

Ole Miss won at Auburn last night. AU shot 25% three pointers on their home court. UM shot 39.4% (13-33) three pointers; better than their 2-point percentage (6-18). In the parts I watched, UM burned clock on almost every possession and hit several 3-pointers right at the end of the shot clock. Crazy game.

This puts Ole Miss and USC at 7-4; Bama is 6-5. Ole Miss plays UK, UGA, and UT in Oxford; have Missouri twice; at USC and Arkansas. USC plays Bama, Ole Miss, and UGA at home; A&M twice;at MSU and Missouri. Alabama has work to do if making it to the #4 spot in the SEC...

USC has a relatively light schedule remaining but I'm not convinced they are as good as their SEC record. Hopefully Alabama will be on a 3-game win streak heading into USC.

USCe and LSU are the surprise teams thus far. They are looking better than the paper tigers most thought they were after the first couple of weeks.

Well, his formula finally produced something that makes a little bit of sense.

Most formulas do better as the season progresses.

A formula used to break ties in a local high school basketball league. It has predicted the NCAA teams from SEC for years.
