Um pretty some of them vote during the week and it is a national holiday. It's not like someone working jobs to make ends meet doesn't work on weekends. So that doesn't really solve anything.Vote on weekends like Europe!
It would be a vast improvement, but not a problem-solver like a holiday.Um pretty some of them vote during the week and it is a national holiday. It's not like someone working jobs to make ends meet doesn't work on weekends. So that doesn't really solve anything.
Voting is not hard or difficult for most of us, but I understand there have been many different methods used to make voting more difficult for some.Voting is not hard; voting intelligently apparently is.
i think that is the best option. the past few years, we have had 2-3 weeks of early voting here in georgia.Anybody that works in retail or restaraunt does not get federal holidays. Pretty sure most cable companies still work on holidays. Hospitals do for sure. This proposal to make it a holiday does not help get alot of people time to vote. Honestly they should just make it last several days so if you cannot get off on Tuesday, maybe you can find time on wednesday.
Voting is not hard. Placing good candidates on the ballot...now that is apparently very hard.Voting is not hard; voting intelligently apparently is.
*If you're lucky enough to not be a targeted citizen for voter suppressionVoting is not hard*.
Anyone can vote who really wants to do so. It really is not that hard.*If you're lucky enough to not be a targeted citizen for voter suppression
It's weird that they are trying so hard to suppress votes then if they're not getting any results from doing it.Anyone can vote who really wants to do so. It really is not that hard.
FWIW Republicans are trying to reduce early voting, absentee voting in targeted counties across the nation.i think that is the best option. the past few years, we have had 2-3 weeks of early voting here in georgia.
Who is "they"? I don't see that. I know Mitch is a knucklehead. But I don't see Republicans trying to suppress votes. That's totally ridiculous and not so.It's weird that they are trying so hard to suppress votes then if they're not getting any results from doing it.
Simple - “I voted” sticker means paid holiday, lack of sticker means unpaid holiday.I wonder how many people getting the day off would actually go vote.
Read the post above yours.Who is "they"? I don't see that. I know Mitch is a knucklehead. But I don't see Republicans trying to suppress votes. That's totally ridiculous and not so.
