Can’t help but think we’re on the cusp of hitting our stride. LSU next Saturday will be very telling.

Bama is way better than the box score indicates. As I said earlier, I think a series split is probably coming this year.

Hate to say it but I had a feeling this was going to be ugly. Auburn lives to beat us. That is the primary goal of their program every year. We've got to improve.

It is part of it. He knew it coming in. If I am a college coach, I donít want my kid on the team.

Thatís nothing. In fact, compared to what Steve Kerr went through against ASU (look it up), itís nothing more than light ribbing.

Got to see first half and some of second. Bama had the ball down by 3 fairly deep into 1st half and Ingram was called for phantom walk. Next thing you know, AU was up by 15.

Big difference in game is obvious in the stats; 21 Bama turnovers with 13 being steals by AU which ended in 30 points for Auburn. AU defense smothered Bama.

The wife asked why I wasn't watching the game, told her I couldn't make myself watch, that we were going to lose by at least 20.

I'm sure AU played well tonight, and got plenty of help from the zebras, but they've got their own Jekyll and Hyde issues going on this season. They host Florida Tuesday night, how does any SEC team get three straight home conference games?

Back to us, we have two winnable, but challenging, upcoming games: Georgia at home Wednesday and at Vandy Saturday. Of course we all know the trouble we've had at Memorial Gym. We need to steal the Vandy and A&M road games and hold serve at home.

Truthfully I knew a win at Auburn would be a tough ask.

Winning wasnít important to me tonight. I wanted to see consistency and competitiveness.

    I saw neither.Very disappointing.

I think Jimmy Dykes said it best...."No team in the country was going to beat Auburn tonight."

I watched most of the second half and Bama played hard but Auburn was just preordained to win that game.

We lost today too - at home to Kentucky. See you soon, Dub.....

Man Auburn is athletic. Do we have anyone on our team that would crack their starting 5? They are lightning quick. If they shoot the ball like this every night they can't be beat. Even when we had position on some plays their guys just seemed to jump a little higher or were a little quicker to the rebounds. Not sure how you defend this team when they are hitting 3's from that deep and than top it off with guys who can all beat their man one on one it seemed. Just not sure how you beat a team that hot tonight.
