Could be Avery conjuring a Cinderella story in 'Bama's postseason offing - starters finish the regular season playing 35-40 minutes a game, bench is tanned, rested and ready come tournament time, and it's Voila! vs. the Vols for the SEC tournament championship! ...

Understand it might not have been so much not playing AJ because of the issues on the court but more of an off the court incident.

I'd like a little time on watching game film; maybe there is something to understanding opponents' tendencies. Does that cut into practice time limits?

I'm with the commenters - take the extra time practicing FTs...
I've heard a few coaches comment they don't practice FTs as a team because the coach wants to avoid making it such a priority and cause an adverse reaction to emphasizing them too much.

Those same coaches acknowledged its a fine line to monitor.
