Lol! I was at the game with my UGA grad nephew. He drove so I suppose I didn't know where I was. I remembered it as being in Birmingham and when I double checked I found this:

OMG - 1966 Alabama beat Clemson in a shut-out. It was my freshman year and I thought that Bama would never lose. It’s kinda like

Don't feel too bad.

For some reason, I THOUGHT that game was in Bham, I really did. But when I went to verify data (as I do if I'm not 100% sure), it said BDS.
So then I looked it up on You Tube to get a look at the telecast.

I actually thought when you posted, 'Maybe Wikipedia and Winsipedia are wrong.'

I'm guessing we think that because back then almost all the BIG games WERE in Legion Field.
