We fought for today's win. Did plenty of things that will get you beat but kept fighting. We had the bases loaded in the 2nd, 3rd and 7th and only got 2 runs in the 2nd. Ole Miss gifted us those 2. I don't believe we got a hit with the bases loaded. We had a big inning in the 4th when Robinson led off the inning with a triple and scored on a sac-fly. Breaux homered after that. Gentry had an RBI single and Holcombe had RBI single. Game-winning hit was in the 8th off the bat of Williamson, a ground-ball double past 3rd.
Bama pitching settled down after Love was knocked out early. Lee, Vainer, Guffey, Medders and Randolph gave up 1 unearned run over 7 1/3 innings.
