Well if Pelosi stalls out , like she almost certainly will if not given direct evidence, then you can almost guarantee Trump winning 2020. Because you know a failed impeachment and a non impeachment will result in daily “Democratic Party Witch Hunt” tweets and sound bytes for the next year and some change.

I think the Democrats, and this country for that matter, desperately needs this to be very bad for Trump.

I'm still not convinced he will run again. In fact - if that happens - the Republican Party might suffer a huge meltdown, depending on the timing.

Things are getting very interesting now wrt the next election!

I thought it was a fait accompli that Don Jr and Jared boy would be indicted. How did this thing get so far off the rails?

I get that some feel an investigation like this - (or others for that matter) - may not yield the results they were looking for - but isn't there a degree in satisfaction knowing the investigation was handled in a very comprehensive manner by a totally impartial prosecutor, at least?

I also think it's too premature to really say a whole lot one way or the other until the report is actually made public and we know what's in it.

I have a feeling that Trump will be known as the Teflon Don II. I just don’t think enough people talked and the really damning evidence was hidden in some outpost in Siberia. This is based off the facts that the Trump family has seen court yet.

there has been talk of sealed indictments already in place for months. If that is the case more aren't necessarily needed. We will see

This day just blows.

Whether anything more comes out of the report, Even if there are zero more indictments, it is not a carte blanche approval or ratification of the actions or legitimacy of the DJT presidency. Robert Muller was never going to save America from the big bad right wing president, or the rabid socialist lefties that were using his investigation as a cudgel against a “good guy.”

America was deeply divided before 2016, it’s deeply divided now, and it will continue to be deeply divided long after the whatever is in the report makes itself known. If the report was one page long, with a link to the pee tape, 35% of America would have shrugged and continued to support him. If the report managed to find that DJT really was George Washington reborn with only patriotism and American good will in his heart, 65% of America would have claimed it was a sham and we now need Pence to save us from the monster in the Oval Office.

If you don’t like DJT, don’t leave it up to politicians and lobbyists to “fix” the problem. Standard Americans have two tools readily at their disposal. Their vote and their voice (thanks to citizen united, I can lump voice & money). I just hope that this two year long civics lesson gets people more involved, instead of just tuning out because Muller didn’t manage to save the day. This is what you get when the majority of Americans look to other people to superhero their problems away.

There’s not, because Trump is the enemy and these guys wanted more than anything for there to be something, regardless of how it played out.

Nothing personal, but do you really understand what "obstruction" would be, when the Chief Executive is involved?

What I want to know is when they are going to investigate lying to the FISA court. Not once, but twice. And showing up a third time, with manufactured BS, based around them spreading the BS, to the lamestream media, and using that as evidence of the lies told the first 2 times.

That kind of crap should scare everyone. But, since the gubbament did that to Drumpf, y'all are ok with it.

Firing Comey could be obstruction. Trump did several things which could be construed as obstruction.
As I stated, Mueller.was.never.going.to.indict.Trump.
What did Clinton do? He was guilty of “obstruction” and was impeached for it. No one “indicted” him.
Remember the letter he “wrote” for Junior? Yeah, that could be obstruction too.
No more indictments doesn’t mean no grounds for impeachment.

Clinton's impeachment only went forward because he lied before the grand jury. It is highly doubtful the obstruction charge would've went far by itself because everyone pretty much knew all the Democrats were going to vote Not Guilty, and you had a small margin of era with the Republicans.

Some of you folks seem to be talking this hard. LOL

But, all is not lost. SPLC fired Dees and now the head man there has resigned. So, today is a good day, everywhere. Bama Basketball removed.

The real comedy is from all the people on the right doing touchdown dances before the AG has even finished reading the report.

Plus this report is far from the end of investigations (there are like 15+ total already) or even criminal charges in this administration.

Also even without any of that many of Trump’s criminal and traitorous actions are out there in public for all to see. The comedy is watching the right Tammy Wynetteing it up for this unpolished ..... The least they could have done is pick a polished one to show their true colors with.
