And that's another problem.

(Murray seems like a good enough kid - but the NFL is another beast altogether AND.....the Cardinals......I mean that's like being a billionaire headed sky diving and letting your sole heir pack your parachute).

The NFL usually goes into trends when selecting qbs in a non qb draft. Mahommes is the new school qb, and people are going to try to emulate him even if it is an ill advised pick based on the team.

There is a reason that Brady, Roethlisberger, and Rodgers have outlasted a lot of #1 trendy quarterback picks.

Sorry, I didn't make my point. Jones would have been there at #17 for certain and he might have been there in the 2nd round. Picking him #6 was STUPID. No matter how well he plays, that will still be true.
