Thompson's problem is that his production fell off immensely after the first month or two months. He really didn't have a great CFP at all. Got clowned on several times. He should've come back but I reckon we're better off that he didn't. I get the feeling there were several guys more consumed with their draft stock than dirty work especially on defense (and I ain't talking about Q).

LB’s, Safeties and RB’s coming off the board, none from Bama! A little surprising.

I'm not surprised Dame is falling either. Frankly I think he was wise to return because he would not have been drafted any higher last year either. He's probably the most nondescript starting tailback we've had in the Saban tenure. He got caught from behind A TON despite having a pretty nifty cutback and initial burst. His ability to "win" contact is not even Drake or Yeldon like. I am not trying to run the Hater's Ball here...I promise! My top game from here was ~80 yard performance against Clemson in 2017. He got every tough conversion and fought through initial contact like Jacobs in that game. Didn't see that a ton over his 3 years of contribution. I think that is his problem here in the draft.

Can't believe D. Harris is still available. He was nothing but a class act and I never remember him complaining about sharing touches, but I think that is probably now hurting him.

hear hear, talented smart kid, i too am baffled by this, but a team will get a good player in a later round.
