Dont know what kind of coach he would be but CNS needs to keep his eye on Demco Ryans. Hes coaching linebackers with the 49ers. One heck of a worker and player. One to keep an eye on.

Actually, I was looking at Ro's build and size - 260 - and wondering if he could still play ILB for us. I'm not sure...

Good luck with that. Its not going to happen. How many dozens if not hundreds of chances did he get all throughout his life? He let that ship sail a long time ago. What a waste...

He would have to start playing for XFL for a few years then he might have a chance for NFL. If he stays out of trouble.

    Anything but this.

I think he was fast and athletic enough that he could have. However... it's more likely he'd be a Jack or even DE today.

Like Joe Kines said about Prince Hall, "He's about a biscuit shy of putting his hand on the ground."

But what about his twin brother, Orlando McCain? Can he make a comeback?
My New Year's resolution for 2019 is this year I'm not going to drink anymore. I'm not going to drink any less, either.

I was married for 25 years, but if I'd killed her on the honeymoon, I'd have been out in less than 20.

After reading all the horrible things drinking will do to you....I gave up reading.

If he is serious about making a comeback, he would be better off starting off in CFL and go from there.

Just for the record, the article says he returned to Alabama and graduated in 2017. I don't remember reading about that at the time however.

It took a memory jog, but I do. It was in one of his "recovery and going straight" periods. He had married and I remember a interview with him where he talked about how going back had grounded him. Of course, he was shortly back in trouble. That's about all I remember of the interview, but he was on his way to completing his degree...

The issue for coaches and GM's in the NFL now is trust. Do they trust him enough to spend money hoping he doesn't screw up and leave the team in without a capable linebacker. He had as much talent as any linebacker I've ever seen, (Probably hall of fame talent)but the part between the ears was never quite right. If there is anyone who could benefit from counseling, it is him.
