(Photo: Denon McMillan, 247Sports)Travis Reier, BamaOnLine: Look for the offensive side of the ball at Alabama to be impacted the most by redshirt freshmen, with an emphasis on the line of scrimmage. It's there where you'll find interior offensive lineman Emil Ekiyor and linebacker-turned-tight end Cameron Latu. In the spring, Ekiyor worked with the first-team offensive line at left guard while Latu was UA's second tight end in the A-Day game.
Of the two, Ekiyor looks to be most likely to start the season opener against Duke in Atlanta. He's a powerful option at either guard or center. With Alex Leatherwood moving out to left tackle and Ross Pierschbacher now in the NFL, the Crimson Tide is in the market for starters at both spots.
