Clearly speaking to the team, not the ink-stained wretches, in the opening statements about what kind of player do you want to be. Also, without naming names, challenging leaders to lead.

Seemed optimistic about DJ Dale -- about back to normal. A bit out of shape due to the 10-day layoff. But seemed to think that by 9/1, they could get him back to where he was before the injury.

Didn't seem quite so optimistic about Ford as he did after Saturday's scrimmage. Immediately after the injury, said a week. In the video, says day to day, and "if we think he's ready, and if the doctors clear him, he'll play against Duke." High ankle sprains can nag, especially given the explosive moves RBs need to start the play and to make cuts. And Ford is that type of back, far more than he is a bruiser. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him held out until later - NMS or USCe.
