Last year we did this BigTide won. Rules are 5 games and a few bonus games. You get 1 point if you win the 5 game contest without going perfect, and get 3 for going perfect. You get 0.5 per each bonus game correct.

1) UNC vs USCE. For some reason I think UNC is going to upset USCE but I’m reminded Mack Brown is the coach. Pick: USCE

2) Auburn vs Oregon. Until Oregon proves they can win at this stage... Begrudgingly Auburn

3) Oklahoma vs Houston (Sunday)- Jalen Hurts and Dana Holgerson are making their debuts... pick: Oklahoma

4) Ole Miss vs Memphis- tricky tricky tricky but I’m going with the folks in the desert on this one. Pick: Memphis

5) Florida St vs Boise: so many questions not enough answers, but I think Taggart is out of his depth. Pick: BSU

Bonus:

*1: NW at Stanford: NW
*2: James Madison at WVU: JMU ( yes I’m serious)
*3: Virginia at Pitt: UVA
*4: mizzou at Wyoming: Mizzou

Have fun an RTR

1. UNC vs. USCe - Gamecocks.
2. Auburn vs. Oregon - Ducks. I think Auburn is going to flop this year. Yes, that means they are probably headed for a 10 win regular season.
3. Oklahoma vs. Houston - OU big. Hurts runs for 200 and passes for 200, accounts for 7 TDs.
4. Ole Miss vs. Memphis - Memphis. 3 win season for Ole Miss.
5. Florida State vs. Boise State - Boise.

Bonus:

1. NW at Stanford - Trees at home.
2. JMU vs. WVU - No idea. Pick WVU by default.
3. Virginia at Pitt - Virginia
4. Mizzou at Wyoming - Mizzou.

1) UNC vs USCE. Gamecocks will win big and ruin Mack Brown's debut

2) Auburn vs Oregon. Ducks, no reason just a hunch

3) Oklahoma vs Houston (Sunday)- Sooners, although it may be closer than some think.

4) Ole Miss vs Memphis- Memphis, Ole Miss will need a new coach before the year is up.

5) Florida St vs Boise: Boise Sate, FSU might also need a new coach next year.
Bonus:

*1: NW at Stanford: Stanford, even though I have picked the wildcats to win the B1G
*2: James Madison at WVU: West Virginia but JMU will scare this team until the final play
*3: Virginia at Pitt: Virginia, I stink at picking ACC games
*4: mizzou at Wyoming: Mizzou, but it might be a closer than expected as well.

1) UNC vs USCE. - USCE I just think they're better

2) Auburn vs Oregon. - I'll gladly be wrong on this one and take Oregon. But they might just match up well. Strong and experienced OL to combat a strong Auburn DL. First collegiate game for Nix means he makes some freshman mistakes. I think if this game is later in the year Auburn wins walking away, but early in the year? I'm less sure.

3) Oklahoma vs Houston (Sunday)- Oklahoma but they let up more points than you'd want

4) Ole Miss vs Memphis- Ole Miss, Idk why it just feels like Memphis is a popular pick and I like being contrary sometimes

5) Florida St vs Boise: This and the OU game were my upsets in the other thread but I bailed on the upset over OU so I'll stick with at least this one. Also FSU is bad. BSU wins it

Bonus:

*1: NW at Stanford: Stanford
*2: James Madison at WVU: WVU - I don't like JMU
*3: Virginia at Pitt: UVA
*4: mizzou at Wyoming: Mizzou

Probably at 35k or in an airport somewhere
Mack Brown return to coaching edition
1) USCE (“if only Colt hadn’t got hurt...I could’ve retired a Longhorn legend in 2010 and stayed that way. Instead I have to take a gig playing second fiddle to Roy Williams...No, the other one.”)
2) Oregon (if only Gus offense hadn’t got inert)
3) OU (if only Linc hadn’t got Hurts)
4) Memphis (if only Freeze hadn’t got turnt...in by his own cell phone records)
5) Boise State (if only smurfs hadn’t got turf)

Bonus:
*1: Stanford
*2: WVU
*3: Pitt
*4: Mizzou

1) UNC vs USCE - South Carolina

2) Auburn vs Oregon - Auburn.... I want to pick Oregon but just have a feeling the Barn pulls this off.

3) Oklahoma vs Houston - Oklahoma... I'll watch to see how Jalen does but they could put anyone out there and beat Houston.

4) Ole Miss vs Memphis - Memphis.... I don't think OM is going to win many games this year.

5) Florida St vs Boise: Boise St.... FSU is pretty much a full on raging dumpster fire now.

Bonus:

*1: NW at Stanford: This one could go either way...tough.... I'll go with Stanford
*2: James Madison at WVU: West Virginia
*3: Virginia at Pitt: Another tough pick..... I'll go with Pitt
*4: Mizzou at Wyoming: Missouri

1) UNC vs USC.
Pick: USC.

2) Auburn vs Oregon.
Pick: ...If the Barn's defense is good enough to have Gussy-boy drooling over his defense and talking about them instead of his shiny, new QB and his own, self-proclaimed offensive genius them they must be really, really good. I'll hold my nose and pick..
The Barn.

3) Oklahoma vs Houston.
Pick: Oklahoma, easy.

4) Ole Miss vs Memphis.
Pick: This is a tough one but I'll go with... Memphis.

5) Florida St vs Boise.
Pick: This is the toughest pick on the board. FSU, I guess.

Bonus:

*1: NW at Stanford.
Pick: Stanford

*2: James Madison at WVU.
Pick: WVU

*3: Virginia at Pitt.
Pick: UVA

*4: Missouri at Wyoming.
Pick: Missouri

A thoroughly satisfactory day. I watched Manchester City smash Brighton 4 - 0 at the Etihad in the morning and this afternoon watched Bama walk all over Duke from 2nd Qtr on.

The not so satisfying is that Liverpool and the Barn won. I guess you can't have everything.

On Sunday, I think I'll watch at least part of the Oklahoma game to see how Jalen does. I expect him to do very well.
