(Paraphrasing ...)Was Gus the QB coach/playcaller for Cheeze when they had Cam and won the NC?
Yes.Was Gus the QB coach/playcaller for Cheeze when they had Cam and won the NC?
I said last week that the picks were expected. Once again, he's a true freshman. Give him time. He's going to improve."going forward" is a big hedge. Nix has arm strength and running ability. That's it. He has thrown some horrible picks. He looks lost out there. He will get better this year but so far I don't see signs that he is a fast learner. Oregon's defense is not very good. Things will get tougher during the SEC season.
People keep saying this but why? If I was an Auburn fan, there is nothing he’s shown tonight that has given me any confidence that he’s going to get Auburn to the next level. Gus doesn’t develop QBs, what you see is what you get. If Nix is their best option then they are in trouble.Nix is going to be a good one.
first time I have seen him. Now I know why he is projected as a high choiceHerbert has quite an arm.
That's the difference in CNS and Gus. CNS would NOT expect a true freshman QB to have this much involvement in winning the game.I said last week that the picks were expected. Once again, he's a true freshman. Give him time. He's going to improve.
Set a ton of team records with noodle armed Chris Todd in 09.So other than Gus being the playcaller for Cam, what has he really ever done to get all the hype for his play calling?
Everybody on this board could have called plays for Cam.
