Except that the only ones that might complain about Demons and Devils are Christians --- so.......that may not be true in this case

    because they are all fictional

I have heard of Christian groups complain about mascots of that type.

I remember right wing groups wanting to end "devil" and "demon" mascots/nicknames. I remember Halloween being effectively canceled when it fell on a Sunday. I remember the Saturday morning Dungeon & Dragons cartoon of the mid-80s not being shown on local television.

I remember being at GW during the mid/late 90s and navigating through leftist protesters who wanted the school disassociated from George Washington because he was too white and too male, thus representing the patriarchy and oppression. I saw these same people championing the viewing of pornography at the student center. (I guess the argument that pornography objectifies and oppresses women hadn't been invented yet.)

My preference would be to gather up all these idiots on both extremes and knock their heads together until they learn the concept of context and consistent philosophical thought. I don't expect that to happen, so I'd be content with the continual skull cracking.

i was sorely disappointed as a teenager to discover that i couldn't actually summon a demon by playing a black sabbath album backwards while reading a d and d monster manual out loud.

Is the Seminole Nation still receiving its annual multi million stipend from Free Shoes University for use of the Seminole name and logo?

You must not have been doing it right.........

Well, I didn't see the reply since I went into immediate response mode.

    Oh well.
My New Year's resolution for 2019 is this year I'm not going to drink anymore. I'm not going to drink any less, either.

I was married for 25 years, but if I'd killed her on the honeymoon, I'd have been out in less than 20.

After reading all the horrible things drinking will do to you....I gave up reading.

demon is not a Christian term, and neither is devil. Both terms are way older than Christianity.

If you look at the bottom of the page then you will see the most important part of the article:

Will you help expose liberal bias on America's campuses?

Campus Reform exposes the liberal bias and abuse against conservatives on America’s colleges and universities.
As a Campus Reform reader, you know about the abuse taking place at our nation’s higher education institutions, and you know how important it is to bring these stories to light. College campuses are no longer bastions of higher learning. Leftist professors indoctrinate students with their agendas. They even silence conservative students with their attempts to suppress free speech.Campus Reform depends on the financial support of concerned Americans like you to report on leftist indoctrination on college campuses and uncover the blatant misconduct of university administrators, faculty, and students.
I think its pretty clear of what the intent was, and who it is targeting.
