Good - Our coaching staff has done as good of a job coaching up all these young players to the standard of Bama Football we have starting & playing I seen under Coach Saban..Tua, Riddley & our WR's unit are playing as good as any in the country..Can't forget Will Reichard & his accurate cannon leg..Well done son & very proud of you.

The Bad & Ugly.. I'll skip cause we're simply going to make mistakes as our young players gets reps learning this level of football..

Good: 28 players registering at least one tackle yesterday...Love seeing all those kids get out there!!!...and Will Reichard!!!

Bad: OL, but it's not panic time yet...

    Ugly: Orange

The Bad- stupid mistakes still abound that wont cost us here but needs to be eliminated prior to SEC play (like block in back on Waddles TD return). Punter Delong kicked well, but still holds ball to long.

The Ugly- the OL...these guys look lost at times. Inferior athletes are blowing by. The looks like misreads on pass protections that DEs to run free in our back field.

I have to say that I'm more concerned about the Defensive depth and pass rush.

I believe that the above mentioned 28 guys making tackles is trying to address the depth...hoping it works!!! RTR!!!

The SEC competition is a lot different than NMSU. IMHO, I really don't think we pressured the QB enough for that level of competition.

Agreed...just looks like we're trying to develop some of the younger kids and I like that...

Good: Tua, WRs, Defense as a whole. Oh and the kicker!

Bad: OL, RBs. The issue isn't talent and that's comforting. They'll get it fixed.

Ugly: Refs. There was not a block in the back on Waddle's return. The heat.

Good: The passing game and it looks like we finally have a placekicker. Also thought Mac Jones is looking like a capable backup. He's no Tua, but there's no shame in that. I thought he ran the offense well, and made some good throws. Liked that they let him run the whole offense, not just hand off. On defense, Shane Lee doesn't look like a true freshman. I think we have our MLB for at least three years.

Bad: That was one of the hottest games I've ever been to....and we were in the west side upper deck shade. I can't imagine what the east side was like.

Ugly: I'm officially concerned about our OL and running game. I thought we had a major upgrade in OL coaching, but it isn't looking that way at all. With our size, conditioning and athletic ability, we should have been blowing both Duke and NMSU 5 yards off the line. That didn't come close to happening, and now the SEC schedule awaits. If this doesn't get fixed, there will be no championships of any description.
