I'm SHOCKED that you actually need to record anything.

It was a long-time hobby. I stopped after the 2013 Iron Bowl, mostly because everything is pretty much on You Tube now.

I was part of a large group that bought some coachís films of old Tide games against Ga Tech from the 50s (and other games as well) and donated the collection to the Bryant Museum in 2000.

I have every World Series game played between game 6 of 1978 and game 3 of 1999.

I began to notice, though, that it was meaningless to record most UA games because they were over early and I never watched them again.

I usually cannot. And I do know we played better than a lot recall. However, letís just say GMac was no Tua - and that was a different era at UA (combined with the scheduling fiasco).

Will your memory begin to deteriorate over time, or will you have perfect recall for life?

The biggest myth of the game is that Stephen Garcia beat us that day. Sure he had 3 TDs, and just a few incompletetions, but he had nearly the exact number of yards passing that he did the year before against us.

Here are the stats, and look for the few of them that really stand out...

    Matchup
    1st Downs 21 20
    3rd down efficiency 5-13 6-11
    4th down efficiency 2-3 2-2
    Total Yards 351 311
    Passing 356 206
    Comp-Att 27-35 17-20
    Yards per pass 9.0 10.1
    Interceptions thrown 0 1
    Rushing 36 110
    Rushing Attempts 29 37
    Yards per rush 1.2 3.0
    Penalties 5-31 4-34
    Turnovers 1 1
    Fumbles lost 1 0
    Interceptions thrown 0 1
    Possession 19:47 16:53

    Don't see them maybe these:

    Alabama Rushing
    CAR YDS AVG TD LONG
    Mark Ingram II 11 41 3.7 0 13
    Trent Richardson 6 23 3.8 0 8
    Greg McElroy 12 -28 -2.3 0 6
    TEAM 29 36 1.2 0 13

    South Carolina Rushing
    CAR YDS AVG TD LONG
    Marcus Lattimore 23 93 4.0 2 22
    Brian Maddox 5 28 5.6 0 17
    Stephen Garcia 7 11 1.6 0 13
    Ace Sanders 1 -7 -7.0 0 0
    TEAM 37 110 3.0 2 22

Alabama 1 sack.... USCe 7 is also a missed stat.

The oldest guy with it is late 60s and still got it.

However - and Iím serious - Iíve begun (at 49) to forget some very basic things, and it does concern me a bit.

That possession time is nowhere close to right.

I don't remember the game that well but the passing yards and rushing yards don't look right either. I don't recall GM ever passing for 356 yards and if we only ran for 36 yards well then we should have lost...

[QUOTE=Tide&True;3442064]Does anybody remember that game? I do and this elephant didnít forget!

I remember it like it was yesterday, our defense made Stephen Garcia look like Tom Brady that dude cut us up all day. With the exception of the Louisiana Monroe game in 2007 and this past January beat down to Clemson I would definitely rank this 2010 Carolina game among our worst losses since Saban has been at Bama.

Those are actually correct. Gmac was sacked for 41 yards, and in college that takes away from rushing yards. In the pros it is on passing yards.

Even if we give them back its USCe 117-64 in rushing yards. A very crappy day of running for us

I had a very, very good memory into my early 30s - not like yours, but far better than average. I could play back my life in my mind. I could literally play back an entire corporate meeting in my mind, word for word. I never had to study because I could read back my notes and text books in my mind.

My memory is now very average - very. Womp Womp

I'm going to have to watch this game but the stat that stood out to me was that we were 2 for 4 in the Redzone with 1FG and 1TD while South Carolina went 4 for 4 with 4 TDS.

That's the difference in the game right there. If we score 2TDs instead of getting nothing twice its a tie game.
