    Tropical Storm Imelda

So we had another big rain event here. This article catches most of the high points (possible paywall). There were some lives lost.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2019/09/20/u...ton-texas.html

According to today's updates, it is the 5th largest rain event in the lower 48s history.

In my neighborhood, the rainfall rate was worse than Harvey.

This was a bad storm, but not as big and didn't dump as much total rainfall as Harvey. There was enough rain that fell during Harvey to cover Alabama 2 feet deep. A once in 27,000 year event according to the Texas State Meteorologist.
