It isn't all because of the players - mostly because of the players not out there - but the back half of the 2nd quarter is exactly why this team is likely to lose at least 2 if not 3 regular season games.

It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. The ball carrier can step out right before the hit to get the penalty; if the tackler pulls up, the carrier just keeps on going.
Right now that is what I think...in-season injuries aren't dissuading me from this belief.
of course L8U is looking like world beaters and the espn talking heads are making it sound like they are playing the New England Patriots.
I have accepted our running game is what it is. OUr defense is what it is too. So I hope we can improve the inexperience on D and figure out something to improve our running game. This year is not exactly what I have invisioned. I guess I am spoiled.
They are also talking about Alabama killing USM. It is what it is. They pump up the better teams for ratings.
At the game. Score deceptive imo. Growing pains. Also some missed assignments on defense or USM is scoreless.... RTR
