The second part of their statement was “would’ve supported a replay”. Really that says if the replay official would’ve stopped it then they would’ve been behind them. They have to have a better approach than may be on replays, they're supposed to add certainty. Hopefully coming up with a more reliable system is a priority. It's ok that they didn't but would be ok if they did is hardly conducive to consistency.
Like I said earlier they really need to get the AAFL football technology because that solved a lot of problems right away in terms of scoring.
