    Again this is on Ole Miss and not the refs.
    My concern is not so much with the outcome of the game as it is with replay being so... flippant. Even the Pac-12's statement was so firmly on the fence. No the call would not have been overturned but yes it would have been ok to review it. So we're still firmly at may be...

    They have to have a better approach than may be on replays, they're supposed to add certainty. Hopefully coming up with a more reliable system is a priority. It's ok that they didn't but would be ok if they did is hardly conducive to consistency.

    The second part of their statement was “would’ve supported a replay”. Really that says if the replay official would’ve stopped it then they would’ve been behind them. But again no official is going to stop play from any conference on that particular circumstance, and they shouldn’t.

    Like I said earlier they really need to get the AAFL football technology because that solved a lot of problems right away in terms of scoring.
