here is the article I referenced earlier, did not read it again and as it links and shows 4chan info there may be some not so great language. I'll let the mods read and decide to keep or remove

https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/ryanhatesthis/crowdstrike-4chan-qanon-conspiracy-theory
This is exactly it. So it didnt start with Breitbart. And apparently the source of the info I didn't understand last night.

Wrapping my head around that... is tough.
But more concerning is that our president believes 4chan nonsense over our security & defense experts.
I love reddit, but 4chan is a whole different level of seedy and crazy.

I get the idea that eventually Trump IS going to tell us on the witness stand that of course he blank blankety ordered the Code Red.

Now, he's saying that the Kurds should "head for the oil region." I wish he hadn't failed geography. This is right up there with the Colorado wall...

Interesting. The Senate resolution is aiming to make senators' going on record, so they can't abstain at the last moment without going on record on an impeachment vote...

The mistake people continue to make is thinking the conservative brain trust and their media mouthpieces are capable of doing anything in good faith. Reasoning with hardened conservatives is impossible. Once a person is too far down the conservative media hole, they've got a terminal case of brainworms.

I was wondering today if he would testify at his impeachment trial. Neither Clinton nor Johnson took any part in theirs. A smart attorney would tell him to stay away. But he has Giuliani so we’ll see.

As strange and unlikely as that sounds; his ego is big enough to think he can get on the stand using his perceived negotiating skills and forceful personality to cut a deal with Congress.

Oh, he's not going to go in there and say anything.

Right up to the last minute: "Is there something we can do to make this go away?"

OTOH, a senator could go on record as against impeachment and then still absent himself...

I haven’t seen this posted. It’s hard to know which thread some things belong in.

Rudy Giuliani butt dialed an NBC reporter and left a voice mail asking for a few hundred thousand cash in relation to trashing the Biden’s.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/po...-reporter-heard-discussing-need-cash-n1071901

The next morning, a message exactly three minutes long was sitting in the reporter's voicemail. In the recording, the words tumbling out of Giuliani's mouth were not directed at the reporter. He was speaking to someone else, someone in the same room.

So the Repubs are claiming victory because Reeker didn't add anything to the case of withholding aid for dirt. Do they not see that 99% of the people in the State department had no inside information about this undercover operation? In a criminal trial, would they call witnesses from South Carolina to testify they knew nothing of a robbery in New York? Desperation...

From my friend Tim:
(POL)(WHISTLEBLOWER) Very interesting testimony scheduled for tomorrow. Lt. Colonel Vindman, an Army officer assigned to the White House as the Ukranian specialist for the National Security Council, he was on the call between President Trump and President Zelensky.
Allegedly he protested twice about undue influence on Ukranian policy threatening national security, once before and once after the call, confronted Ambassador Sondland directly over what was going on, and drafted two memos of concern to the NSC attorneys at the *request* of NSA Bolton outlining his concerns in addition to being present at many of the key conversations and events.
Basically if Taylor was the outsider establishing the framework of quid pro quo and diplomatic risk, Colonel Vindman appears to be the insider establishing a similar framework less about quid pro quo - and more about a national security risk emerging from the shadow-policy being run by Guliani.
Bolton may or may not testify, but his presence looms large in this as a central figure. And even if he doesn't testify, his actions are coming into clearer focus that there was strong opposition and awareness this was inappropriate *within* the White House and concerns were either ignored or overruled from both professional and appointee staff.
I'll post the opening statement
