I really struggle to see anyone but the Dodgers and the Astros in the WS. They are the two best teams. I think that the mid-September Braves could have competed with anyone. Not sure that the October version will get out of the first round. They are really the only MLB team that I care about.

Baseball is weird sometimes. I think the Dodgers are taking a huge gamble by not trotting out Kershaw or Ryu while the Nationals are resting Scherzer and Stras for a game. Gio is a more than capable starter that could give the Dodgers hell.

But yeah the trendy pick is Dodgers-Stros, but I have a hard time believing it goes according to plan. I think the team noone wants to play is the Twins in the AL, and the Nats in the NL. One of them probably breaks the bracket.

He may be but the Astros’ bullpen is trying to blow his incredible outing. Which is fine by me since I want TB to win.
Osuna has been really good this year. I think having him pitch to 1 batter in the eighth and then bringing him back in the ninth may have affected his mojo.

I'm interested how Greinke does on the road.

Everytime it seems Grienke is going to be “that guy” he has these crap games. It used to hack off Royals and Brewers fans to no end

I saw Verlander is going to pitch tomorrow, which is one day early. I expect Uridy (sp?) will pitch too. Miley was really good until about mid-August when he started pitching batting practice outings.

Don't really like the start time since I am next to the stadium.
My thing is, I can either be celebrating and get a good night sleep or not having to see a heartbreak happening near the early morning. I would also like to give less rest for the other two teams should we win, and have them waste their bullpen.

Four teams had a chance to clinch and only the Yankees took care of business. I wonder how many of the other three will make it through.
