That's a considerable relief, guess my faith in Bulovas and DeLong is a bit weak.

I think we need him more at punter than PK. Either way, I hope he’s fully healed. This sort of injury has a way of lingering.

If the docs say he’s ready, play him. But if rest would help, rest him.

In Jim Andrews and Nick Saban I trust.

That sounds great, but it is difficult to believe that a kicker can recover from a hip flexor that quickly. I hope that is accurate.

I suppose there must be differing degrees of that injury and, hopefully, his was of the minor variety.

Lane Bearden says hi.
Haha, I don't think Lane had recovered either. He just limped through on guts, and I would hope we wouldn't do that again with this young kid in his first year. Of course, he's not just visiting a doc-in-a-box for a five minute consultation. If they let him play, I'm sure it is because he is ready. I just expected it to be longer.

I say we shouldn't let him kick off anymore. I know Bulovas is not the best PK but I'd rather lose Reichard to a FG rather than a PK spot.

At least until he's good on the whole "kick the BALL, not the TEE" thing. :)
Given the low bar for 'Bama kickers (and the innumerable wide rights and lefts with the crossbar), I'm inferring from "CNS says Will Reichard could be ready for the Aggies" only that he or his kicking foot has learned to distinguish a lump of solid black plastic from ovoid pebble-grain cowhide...

Can he kick with his other leg?

A "switch kicker" - so to speak
