It's a crying shame that all these leeches latched onto such an honorable and fine servant like Donald Trump.

I mean, a guy can't really be in control of what his friends do now, can he?

It's not like he ever claimed a reputation for picking "only the best people"......
It is ironic isn't it that Trump has skirted or outright violated the law for his entire life and has committed incredibly egregious acts since he took office, to be finally caught in an act that he obviously considered to be within his prerogative. How could an obvious international money launderer and bank fraud specialist not consider simple bribery of a foreign government to be standard operating procedure?

One has to be reminded of Al Capone, who committed every type of vicious crime for many years before he was finally sentenced to federal prison for failing to pay his income tax.

you'd think that eventually a small number of trumpies would realize they are making fools out of themselves supporting complete and utter morons. and then you realize that these morons have been around and influential for quite a while.

He won't be the first, of course.

We had a slightly similar situation in Arkansas in the 90s.

Bill Clinton got elected President, and a man named Jim Guy Tucker took over. Tucker eventually went to prison for Whitewater.

That scandal almost surely does not even come to light except Clinton ran for President and a reporter started pulling on the thread.

If he goes to Maxwell AFB Prison, maybe he can get John Mitchell’s old room.

I'm sure he never dreamed of how that picture would backfire on him.

I saw a funny photoshop picture...it showed an upset looking Trump behind bars...the caption read..."the look you get when you've been locked up, given one phone call, but when you use it, the phone in the next cell rings."

Will Trump ever step up and issue pardons for his motley crew? If he loses in 2020 will he issue pardons for them before leaving office? If he is reelected certainly he will issue pardons as he will feel absolutely bullet proof then. Again, big if, he is reelected it may well prove to be the most chaotic and destructive period in US, maybe world, history!
