This makes me think of the quote I read this morning pouring over the articles about Tua.

"Don't be sad because its over, Smile because it happened"

20 years down the road I expect we will still be talking about the kid from Hawaii and how awesome of a young man he was in so many ways. I hope "Tua the next chapter" is as great as this one has been.

Yeah - it sucks that it made me sad.... lol.

My brain is saying, "he didn't die, ya'll" -- but it's the finality of it all. It came fast, sudden, shockingly..... so it sort of feels like something died.

Is that being too dramatic? Don't know -- but that's the emotion of this situation.

Feels silly to say.... but it feels so heavy.

Now we can relate to all of the old timers who talk about "Joe Willie" in his prime..... and such....

Or how we discuss "DT" and how dominant he really was.....

He is amazing! Proud that he belongs to us....

Great video.
Tua has been an all time great one.
Here's wishing him a full and complete recovery.

From now on every QB who plays at Alabama will be in his shadow.
Tua set a high water mark at Alabama, for future QB's to measure themselves by.

Great video. Made my eyes water. Glad they did not say anything in the video this time.

He is one of a kind, a generational player who has represented BAMA well.

I got him a card today and will mail it tomorrow. I bet he will get lots of them. RTR!

In the pantheon of Alabama legends, his place is assured.......2nd and 26 will live on forever

But another chapter will soon be written, because I don’t think he is done

Dad passed away suddenly back in April.

You're not being too dramatic. The feelings were similar, even if this one wasn't as final. Thankfully so, obviously.

My Bay Area friends and co workers all felt bad for Tua. most don't followed CFB all that much, but they all respect Tua .
he is that special to transcend all fans across the country.

RTR TUA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
