The show will air 6:00pm central. Interesting to see how the committee views us with Tua's injury.
I'm not watching, so I'm not aware if anything has been said. But IMO, it doesn't have to be that much. Florida owns the largest victory margin against Auburn at 11 points, and the game was in Gainsville. LSU beat them by 3, and Georgia by 7. If we beat them by 17 or even 14, that's the largest defeat margin and the game is at JHS and we're starting our 2nd string QB.We are going to have to beat Auburn by 3 TDs to hold our place over Oregon or Utah and/or maybe move up.
That's what the ESPN crew said and the Committee Chair said that the committee went back to watch the rest of the Bama game without Tua and that we lost some support.I'm not watching, so I'm not aware if anything has been said. Oregon/Utah obviously has the extra game going for them. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
That tells me we do have a shot without Tua, if we beat Auburn impressively. Tall order, indeed, but don't tell me we don't have a chance.Committee chair Rob Mullens told ESPN that Tagovailoa's injury did not factor into discussion about Alabama's ranking, as the Crimson Tide still cruised to a 38-7 victory over Mississippi State on Saturday.
That's the $64,000 question. The OL needs to have the game of its collective life against Auburn. Can we pass the "eye-test" with Mac?
Same as last week - Alabama #5.So, what are the updated rankings?
