I've been told that he needs to get into better shape and to work on his skills. He has the size to be a good player. He has only seen action in one game and that was FAU. My guess is he is a project. He seems to have a good head on his shoulders though. Javian Davis is a good example of a kid who worked hard and it is paying off. I hope Hawkins is the same kind of player.
When I was at one of their practices, he actually got hurt. Watch him when he runs. He still isn’t even close to 100%. He runs up and down the floor VERY gingerly. I don’t think he is healthy at all.

Why would either transfer? Gary got hurt and is out for the season but CNO said before he got hurt that he was physically ready to play in the SEC. If he comes back healthy he will be a very good player.
