Game was much closer than the final score. Hoover is still not quite hitting on all cylinders just yet.
Homewood isn't quite as good as last years powerhouse but still has plenty of good players and as always excellent coaching! In fact I would guess if they were still in 5A they would be the favorite to win it all once again.
Next week Oak Mountain comes to the Hoover Met for another rivalry game.
Not unlike the Tide, Hoover always brings out the best in their opposition!
