    I don't believe it does. You only find out a players importance after he's on your team I believe.

    Just played my first game on 08. I can't believe that JJ is that fumble-prone, and passing seems impossible - I threw 5 picks and even when I hit DJ or KB in the hands, they rarely pulled it in!

    The fumbling thing is rather ridiculous, but it only seems to really affect the user and not the CPU. Passing is much more difficult this year than ever before but it's not impossible, you just have to get used to it but it's more realistic than in year's past IMO. I can still throw for well over 300 yards in most games, but you can't rely as much on the deep ball as you could before.
