I can't believe Capps and Collins are so high. Is #35 supposed to be Rashad and #27 Terry Grant? Do you know if most of our players are in the right class (Sr, Jr...)?

There are some head scratchers in that list for sure! They've obviously never seen TG play because 87 speed is woefully inadequate to describe how fast he is. I'd wager to bet he's probably the fastest player on our entire team. Things that make you go hmmmmmmm! :rolleye2:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~RETURNER~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The main attributes to the Returners is Speed, Acceleration, Catching, and Elusiveness. If these numbers are really high with a player, no matter the other stats, than the returners numbers will be sky high. These numbers are always different than their official position stats.
From what I can remember, EA doesnt focus on the returners when creating their roster. I am almost certain that EA allows computer select who has the highest of the above said stats.
The only 4 I could think of would be
Arenas 90
Hall 94
Grant 88
Stover 93
I wouldnt be surprised to see DJ and Nakita as the return men this year, even though that wont happen at the real BDS.
I got Caldwell and Smith right!
Its also funny that BYU is ranked 44 and they have the lowest ratings in off, def, and ST.
Agreed. They along with UF are ranked too high IMHO. I don't think I'd even put Arkansas in the top 25 if it were me much less the top 10. They have a lot of questions about their team to be answered.
I asked a guy on another forum for the freshmen players ratings to see how we fared, and it looks ok for where some are. I think WR #82 is supposed to be Maze (maybe EA), but I could be wrong, and his ranking is very low. I didn't think we had assigned #s yet so I don't know if #84 is Gibson? #17 is actually McElroy. so i don't think fanuzzi is in the game. I don't know if #27 is supposed to be goode or taylor.
Freshmen for Alabama:
QB #17 ovr 76
HB #27 ovr 72
WR #84 ovr 78 cth 82
WR #82 ovr 69 cth 78
LG #74 ovr 75
RT #68 ovr 74
LE #96 ovr 76
DT #77 ovr 77
DT #79 ovr 80
MLB #55 ovr 75
CB #23 ovr 74 awr 62
HB27- could be Grant if it is a RS. Goode would've been picked over Taylor.
WR84- could be EA if it's a RS, Gibson maybe
WR82- can't be EA b/c of low rating, Maze maybe
LG74- Ross
RT68- Pharr
LE96- Davis
DT77- hard to say...could be McCulloug or Chapman. If its a RS, could be Motley.
DT79- likely Murphy, who won't qualify.
MLB55- McClain....honestly, that's a low rating.
CB23- Lett
Thx. I was thinking that 77 had to be Motley and 55 as McClain. I didn't know if the CB was Lett or a RS like Coger. Same with the LG, not sure if it was Ross (RS) or Vlachos as a true FR. I'm probably going to up McClain and lower Collins to make up for whatever I do to McClain's since Collins is completely overrated, I might lower his total to the 74-77 OVR range and give the points I took away to Britt and McClain. I think Britt is a little low at 80 (I might make him an 83-84) and bring Rolando up to at least 82-83. Is anyone else going to alter the rosters to make them a little more realistic (like making Grant faster, lowering Collins, etc.)?
McFadden, from what I've gathered, is going to be an absolute beast in this game - the only 99 rated player, which would automatically skewer heavily in Arkansas' overall rating.
It could be Coger, good catch.
Collins isn't even playing LB anymore, he's at end. Grant deserves some more speed.
Editing rosters is a MUST.
Here is the breakdown by class for UA's roster.
19 frosh 18 soph 16 junior 16 senior.
This looks fairly realistic since I know we don't have many seniors at all. It leaves one spot to create a player, and I think I am going to create Watkins as an OLB (unless he is already there) and make him about a 74-76.
Having one player no matter how good he is does not warrant them being ranked 10th in this game I'm sorry. McFadden is an awesome player there's no doubting that (and Felix Jones is phenomenal as well) but one player can't boost a team's overall ranking THAT much. I think they've just simply overestimated Arkansas' team overall.
I saw their team ratings (player by player) and Monk is rated high, as is their big DT (can't remember the name). Their C (maybe one of the guards) is rated pretty high too. The rest of their roster has similar ratings to Bama. Every other receiver for them is in the 70s (pretty sure; maybe 1 guy in the low 80s). I think all of their DL were at least 80 with the DT being a 92-93.
