This is one of my 2 favorite restaurants in the world. I've been out of Mobile for a while, but every time I come home, I look to go there.

The last time I went home I found out that they had all closed up shop.

This is unforgivable!!

How could this be? What happened?

It's one of the few places where everything is good.

Depressing.....

One day they simply closed the doors. A bit later, they placed an ad in the newspaper indicating that they had lost their lease and would re-open when they found a suitable location. So far, nothing.

By the link and reading the related TABS, seems it's headquartered in P'cola and is taking on a new approach, express service - 6 locations, none in AL and 6 full service - with Opelika as only AL restaurant. Strange but true.

Even stranger you'll see that the franchise rights are owned by Keelboat Concepts, Inc and the principal shareholders reside on the Eastern Shore, AL.

I don't think I was ever seated any sooner than after an hours wait when going to the one in Mobile on a weekend night.
