Gator Todd. Now that is a cool nickname. But he plays for Alabama.

"You play the best four out of five scores on the hole, and we played it 2-under, and South Carolina played it 1-under," said Alabama men's golf coach Jay Seawell who collected his fifth Tide team championship in its last 15 tournaments with the win. "Gator (Todd) made a seven or eight footer for birdie to win the playoff."

Gator is Richard Todd's son for anyone that doesn't know. This team has an excellent chance to win the national championship this year.

He's a great kid. Great family as well. I remember him in pre-school (at my little brother's school) in Florence running around the Halloween carnival like it was yesterday. Time flies.
