Greetings Everyone!

With high school football just around the corner, I figured I'd let everyone know that I'm going to be doing the 2008 version of the Friday Night Lights Project, an attempt to capture in pictures a season of high school football around Alabama. The project will be "simulcast" this year on both http://www.flickr.com/photos/diamondduste and http://www.dsmithimages.com (My online portfolio/store)

Since we're still in the preseason, I figured I'd kick things off with photos from last night's scrimmage at Hewitt-Trussville:

Good deal. I can't wait to follow the season in 'pictures' so to speak. One question DD, are you going to have pics from across the entire state of Alabama on a weekly basis, or just assign a certain region for a different week?

If I didn't have to work two weekends out of the month, I'd love to shoot the games here in the Mobile area for the forums.

I actually think we have one here this Thursday night. Murphy @ UMS-Wright from what I've been told. I'll have to find out more on that.

Because of travel limitations and such, it'll probably be focused on the Tuscaloosa area like last year, however, I am open to different areas if the possibility comes up.
