Place oysters in shell on the bed of salt and salt and pepper them.
Combine butter, onion, parsley, lemon juice and Tabasco.
Dot oysters with mixture.
Combine bread crumbs and cheese and sprinkle on top.
Smoke on pit for 15 minutes or till breadcrumbs are brown and edges of oysters curl.
