Put jello in 4 cup measuring cup makes pouring easier
Mix with 1 cup very hot water till jello dissolves
add lime juice and let cool a little
add tequila and triple sec
pour into shots
refrigerate till jello sets 2 or more hours.

Did y'all know that they actually make Margarita flavored Jello (although it's only offered seasonally)? Has anyone tried this recipe with it? Just wondering if it is worth looking for, or if I should just stick with the lime.

I didn't know that. It might be worth trying out. You might have to adjust the recipe some though. But trust me the original recipe is very very good. You can't really go wrong with it.
