I'm not a big Colbert County fan, but I am a Cody Gross fan (coaches CC), so I'll be pulling for the Indians Friday night.

I think they'll have a pretty good chance. Their opponent's combined record is the best of any team still in the playoffs. And I've been to CT Manley stadium and its one of the few high school stadiums around where home field advantage is real and true and felt by the opposition. Leeds is a good team though. If they get by this test I'd have no problem picking them in their championship matchup.

Sweet Water @ Linden will be a good 'ol Marengo County slobberknocker. The towns are about 25 miles apart, many folks will be off work on Friday, and the place will be packed.

Small-town football at it's best - I love it!
