1 - season duck generously with salt, pepper and other seasonings. Place ducks in pot.
2 - pour wine and water in pot then place 1/2 strip bacon on each half duck.
3 - cover pot and bake at 375 for 1 1/2 hours. Baste every 30 minutes.
4 - add potatoes, onion, carrots, celery and cook uncovered an additional 1 hour. baste as needed
