There are so many punch lines at this point. But I'll pass on the opportunity.

Ol' Barry did have a way of singing, didn't he?

Alabama is 2- and 3-deep all over the place with full grown, meaner-than-he!! men. It's almost not fair making college kids play against them. Any Saban-coached team is going to be deep as he!! with recruits that have elite size, strength and experience at their position and they are going to play with incredible physicality.

Listened to some good ol' Island Zouk music on the radio in my shop while I sanded and stained my maple isolation platforms for the new stereo. Came back in the house to the sound of Linda Ronstadt's Heart Like A Wheel.

This is a good idea so I will start a thread for everyone to add to.

While mrs. exiled & I were cleaning out a long-overdue closet, we listened to a 2-disc collection of Santana that was most excellent. Covered a good part of his career from "Evil Ways" & "Soul Sacrifice" forward to some of the later stuff. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

And I agree that Robert Palmer was great; especially the Sneakin' Sally album.

His back-up band on that album is Little Feat minus Lowell George. Excellent album.
