BL I'm assuming these were something like Stone Crab or Bluepoint claws. Were they pre-boiled or from live crabs? Was the meat in or out of the shell? I'm always looking for another crab recipe. ;)

Bayou: They were bluepoint claws. Ended up looking very similar to these....

These look easy to make as well. The pix description said these were made using olive oil vinaigrette with a light garlic touch. Bet they'd be great using fresh garlic!

Referencing the above picture, you can make them look just lik ethis and they will be bowl licking good.
You'll need:
a pint of crab claws
1 or 2 sticks of butter
1 or 2 lemons
a dash of cayenne(optional if you don't want the heat)
some garlic powder or minced garlic

Get a baking dish large enought to arrange all the claws in a single layer. Cut the sticks of butter into slices and put a slice on each claw. Sprinkle with the garlic powder or minced garlic and if you choose, the cayenne. Slice the lemons thinly enough so you cover all the claws. Bake in the oven about 10 minutes on about 350*.
You can make a meal of this with some rice or have as an appetizer.
Enjoy !
