It's going to be the crowded house thing again so I have been thinking along the lines of chopping up a brisket for some BBQ beef sandwiches, big pot of chili and chips -N-salsa. Cold Mexican beer and the Margarita machine for drinks.

Grocery shopping tomorrow. 10 people will gather for the game, 4 for Texas, 6 for Bama.

Chili - crackers & Fritos

BBQ brisket
Grilled hot link sausages
Grilled onions and peppers
Soft hogie buns for sandwiches
Pickles, sliced tomato & shredded lettuce

Potato & corn chips
home made salsa dip
Brick of cream cheese with Jezebel sauce & crackers
Matt's stuffed cherry peppers
pineapple & cream cheese stuffed jalapeno peppers

Blue Moon & Sam Adams beer, soft drinks for the wusses.
Jello shots - strawberry with vodka & peach schnapps

Found some neat plastic plates that look like football fields, Bama shot glasses, Bama and Texas plastic cups and yellow beanbag penalty flags to throw at the TV. :)
Team rosters printed from internet for everyone.

Total cost @ $80 spent at store. If Bama wins, priceless.

Im actually not hosting the party for this game, but I ordered way too much meat for New Year's Eve specials (I cut my own filet's to serve surf and turfs at the restaurant)....so I'm gonna take on of the loins and rub it down with a little Montreal Steak seasoning and some peppercorns and sear it, then slow roast it for a little prime rib action. My sous chef at the restaurant makes the best horsey sauce anybody could ask for, so that will be his job tomorrow :) lol

I love single malt scotch some I just like to smell most I like to taste. I have been on a Dalwhinny bandwagon for a while now. It has a lighter less smoky flavor and a sweeter smell. Pretty dangerous stuff, anything I can drink like water is dangerous. Belvedere Vodka is also very dangerous stuff. ;)
