Jones looks like he's slimmed down -- not that he's small -- but he appears a step quicker. Interesting call on 3rd and 21 -- an end run by the throwing QB, not the runner.

I agree. Several scouts said he would have probably been a 1st round pick after last year. He's better than a lot of NFL QBs..

Interesting, everything I read said he was a mid-late round pick that would take a couple of years to develop. Apparently he decided it was worth the risk of continuing to play this season 'for free' in order to definitely get the first round money instead of league minimum for a few years.

Reminds me of how I felt about Cam in 2010. I was nervous every time he got hit. Worked out though.

I am sure people said the same thing about Can Newton. That is a big kid and I think he is on the delivering end of most contact. He isn't getting hurt IMO.

I'm pretty sure he would have been 1st or 2nd round pick last year. Last year was a very weak draft for QBs.

Yup..According to Herbie it was fine as wine coverage though & I saw a lot of jersey being pulled on the jersey of the Hokie's WR by the The Buck's DB..I dunno..Maybe I was seeing things..LOL

A certain No. 5 in the crimson jersey plays pass defense in a very similar fashion.
