Other than risking being in the bonus, i have never understood why we didnt use Max in a similar role at the beginning of the game or certainnother juncture? Send him in to be a thug.

There's the problem of quickly getting to the bonus and then after 10 fouls the double bonus. AU is not a great FT shooting team, at least lately, but it's still an quick way to give up a lot of easy points.

And if CBM was the "player of the year" it might be tempting, but otherwise, I'm not sure it's justified.

Instead, get in his grill, whisper in his ear and put your best defensive player on him to torture him. That's the best play IMO.

RM is going to run as much off the shot clock as they can on every possession. Do not be at all surprised that they do not start a play with less than 8-10 seconds on the shot clock. They remind me of the old Princeton teams of years ago. The lower the score, the better they like it.

Hopefully, CNO can rest GN in this first game if he is not 100% but I am sure that will be a game time decision.

Wishing our men the very best on Friday. I just may have to make the 4 hour drive north to Cleveland to see Bama and Vandy play.
